Put a Bird on It.

Sometimes you get into those conversations about.... trends and waves of styles and ways of working. A buddy of mine from Canada asked me the other day about it..and I couldn't help but say, you know, I think there's a lot of potters out there that just want to put birds on their pots. I guess they think it makes it more interesting. If you're not thinking about it..how form and decoration can feed off one another..with critical thought concerning the two (and I know it's hard, I try, I've failed at this... it's something I think I'll always be struggling with)... the pot can end up feeling like the sarcasm and irony of this video... Enjoy!

Kids Class

The next round of classes starts in one week..and today these fliers hit the middle schools and all the kids. Yah..directly into the hands of each kid. Crazy huh? We just had to get the flier approved, print 3,000.. seperated into the different middle schools... and bam! Kids Class.
